As a member of Crowdtap, I have been participating in Scott's Simply Scott Squad crowd the past few months. I have had a great time joining in Scott activities, where I have learned more about Scott's great products, such as Scott Naturals Tube-Free Tissue.

I recently got a promotion and relocated for my job in mid-April. When I started my new job, the Plant Manager gave me an UP by Jawbone, which is a wristband and app for my iPhone that helps me better understand how I sleep, move, and eat - so I can make more informed lifestyle decisions and feel my best. You can even see me wearing my UP wristband it in my Old Navy pictures.

It's been really interesting to see my daily steps and active time, especially since I work in an office setting. I've really been focused on living a healthier lifestyle. I've committed myself to getting in more walking and workouts, despite the craziness of my new job. And, I always believe the mantra... Look good, feel good. This Old Navy Activewear was a great reward and motivation.

I *LOVED* this Old Navy Activewear jacket. It felt so comfortable when I put it on. I loved how it was more fitted, yet it felt breathable at the same time. The thumb holes at the cuffs were a neat detail. And, I also loved the vertical zippered pockets in the front. The jacket looked cute both open and zipped. Old Navy's jacket also is made of quick-drying compression fabric with added stretch designed for peak active performance.

It was a tough decision between the rainbow of cute Old Navy shorts and capri pants, but I ultimately decided on a pair of Old Navy yoga pants. I figured I would get the most use out of them year-round. I loved how flattering they were when I put them on. The soft-stretchy jersey material was super comfy, too.  And, I loved the sassy boot-cut leg, which offered a little flair. I could see myself lounging around in these after a good workout.

 


















My Old Navy receipt total would have been $54.48. Wow! It still always amazes me when I get selected for these Old Navy sample shares and hosted parties. They have all been such memorable events. Best of all... I've enjoyed being able to share free Old Navy clothes with my best friends. We are all very appreciative of the opportunity to have a free girls night shopping. My friend Jackie moved away a year ago. I mailed her my "One For a Friend" coupon. While I miss our Old Navy shopping trips, we still had a ton of fun shopping via iPhone messages. Gotta love the powers of technology! I kept sending her picture messages the whole time I was trying activewear on in the dressing room. It made me feel like were really shopping together, as crazy as that may sound.

Jackie was *so* excited when I told her about the Old Navy Activewear sample share. Jackie had a track scholarship at the College of William and Mary. She is a very hardcore runner, often competing in 10k's, Marathons, etc. And, she desperately needed some new running clothes. Old Navy had so many great options to keep her stylish during her competitions. She said it was a very hard choice, since she loved everything. Ironically, we both ended up picking the same gray active wear jacket. GMTA - Great Minds Think Alike! :)

I recently moved back to Roanoke for my job in mid-April, after living in Greenville for a year. My new job promotion has been absolutely crazy. I really have not had time to catch-up with my old friends yet. This shopping trip was the perfect excuse to make time for a nice evening out. I met my girlfriends Amanda and Amy at the mall after work on a Monday night. We had so much fun shopping together for Old Navy beachwear.

I promised the girls we didn't have to take pictures wearing our Old Navy swimsuits. That was the first thing they asked me when they arrived. Haha. But, you can see us posed below with our Old Navy beachwear. We had so much fun trying on swimsuits and catching up. Our boyfriends met us as we were done shopping. And, we all went out for dinner at Abuelos, our favorite Mexican place next to the mall. Excellent evening, with excellent friends!

For my last coupon. I mailed a set to my friend Jackie. Jackie moved away from Roanoke to Pensacola at the same time I moved to Greenville last year. She was our 4th person for the Old Navy Winter Bundle-Up Bash a year ago. When I told her about the coupons, Jackie was sad she couldn't join us. So, I thought this would be a nice way to include her in it. And, since she lives in Pensacola now, she is constantly at the beach.

Ironically, Amanda and I picked the same blue polka dot bikini. And, I was shocked when Jackie sent me a message saying she also picked the same one. So, 3/4 girls ended up buying the same polka dot bikini. Amanda and I have been talking about taking a trip to visit Jackie in Pensacola. It's going to be funny when we're all three wearing the same Old Navy bikini on the beach. But, I guess great friends share great tastes... Right? :)

I also loved the Old Navy beach bags, flip flops, and towels. This is my first Old Navy beach bag. I loved the "Cool Stripe" Straw Tote. Such cute colors, even match my swimsuit! The Chevron towel was also awesome. It was very soft with some more fun summer colors. And, Old Navy always has so many flip flop choices. I kept it simple with some plain blue flip flops to round off my Old Navy beachwear outfit. I'm feeling ready now for the beach and pool this summer.

My Cottonelle Sample Share Story!

I relocated for my job in mid-April, from Greenville, SC, to Roanoke, VA. It's easy to forget about things during the move, like not packing all the toilet paper. Oops!? There wasn't any toilet paper in our new townhouse the day we moved in. And, after the 4.5 hour drive, my boyfriend and I both were racing for the bathroom when we arrived. Uh-oh. What's a girl to do?

Never fear... The Cottonelle Sample Share package was sitting on our doorstop when we arrived in Roanoke. Not only was I surprised to see our first package, I couldn't have asked for a better housewarming package. I quickly carried the package inside and filled our 2.5 bathrooms with toilet paper before our movers arrived. Cottonelle saved my move-in day, which is a pretty awesome story.

When my movers arrived an hour later, we told them about the Crowdtap Cottonelle package. They had asked about the box when they saw it sitting in our kitchen. I felt better when they told me that people forget about toilet paper all the time during moves. We actually gave them one of the Cottonelle 4-Packs that day. I figured they could "share" the Cottonelle experience the next time they're moving somebody who forgets. It's the little things that can really make a move so much less stressful.

My Schick Hydro Silk Razor Review:

First of all, I have been battling dry skin all winter long. Yuck! So, I was so excited when I read about the Schick "Water-activated Moisturizing Serum." As soon as I got the razor wet, I could feel the moisturizer activated. Unlike other razor strips, it lasted quite a while. I could notice the difference, even though I always use a shaving gel or cream. It made the razor seem to glide easier. And, my legs felt smoother aftward.

I also loved the weight and handle on the Schick Hydro Silk Razor. It was easy to maneuver with the 5 Curve-Sensing blades. I found myself going over areas only once, which is important to me. It helped me avoid irritating my skin or doubling my time in the shower. I was previously using a Venus 3-blade razor. But, I actually liked having the five blades. It was quicker, easier... and, ultimately a closer shave for me.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the Schick Hydro Silk Razor. I had been so loyal to my old 3-blade Venus razor. I honestly haven't tried a new razor in years. I regret having missed out a bit on how the latest technology has evolved. Moisturizing serum, 5 Curve-sensing blades...! I could definitely see and feel the difference. (Literally!) Also, the shower holder is totally awesome. I love how they included it with the kit.

I love the Glad Expressions collection. I've tried their products many times in the past, which you can see from my photos. The Glade Expressions line has some awesome scents, which are perfect for any mood. We keep different scents in different parts of our apartment to mix it up a bit. I love a little bit of variety.

The Glade Expressions fragrance mist and oil diffusers are great because they blend in with your decor. I love putting them all over my apartment. Bathrooms, Bedrooms, Living Room, Kitchen. They blend in perfectly with your decor. The oil diffuser comes in a bamboo or white design. And, the label on the fragrance mists peel off. The white bottles easily blend into the background of your existing decor.
